About Crook County Court Records

Court and public records in Crook County, Oregon are split between Crook County Circuit Court, the Crook County Clerk, the Sheriff's Office, the jail, the City of Prineville, and statewide Oregon systems. This private reference site organizes those public sources by record type so visitors can identify the office, portal, address, phone number, or request process that fits the record they need.

Why We Built This Site

Oregon gives the public access to many non-confidential records, but Crook County records do not all live in one office. Crook County Circuit Court maintains court case files at the Justice Center in Prineville. The Crook County Clerk maintains marriage records, recorded documents, plats, military discharges, elections records, and historical research tools at the county office on NE Third Street. The Sheriff's Office and jail maintain custody information, while state systems such as OJD, OJCIN, Oregon DOC, VISOR, DMV, and the Oregon State Police registry serve narrower record needs.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. It is not operated by Crook County, the Oregon Judicial Department, Crook County Circuit Court, the Crook County Clerk, the Sheriff's Office, or any state agency. There are real limits to what this site can do:

  • We cannot file paperwork or send records requests for anyone
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any court, marriage, probate, jail, or public record
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to a person
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, address, or office procedure is current at the moment it is viewed

Only the issuing Oregon court, Crook County office, or state agency can provide an official certified record.

Search Partners

Some pages include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies operate their own services and may set their own pricing, terms, and result formats. When a search tool leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee. That revenue supports the site, but it does not make third-party results official Crook County or Oregon government records.
